Making Up for Lost Time

I have been slacking in this department lately....between a crazy-busy job and being away for a week and being away on vacation this week. So I have a few life lessons I'd like to share. Anyway, I digress. Without further ado....

1. It is much easier to floss my teeth before I lotion up my feet for the evening. You might has well not even bother.

2. People who are truly famous are much more humble than the people who think they are. For example, I met the man who was Bonnie Raitt's bassist for ten years recently. I also met a 2-bit singer/songwriter at the same conference. Guess who shook my hand and looked me in the eye? And guess who didn't?!

3. I have learned that just thinking of planning a wedding turns perfectly normal people into lunatics. Never you mind that it's not ME we are talking about. And also keep in mind that an engagement has not even occurred!

4. Being a student is alot easier, more productive and more meaningful whe you know what you want to be when you grow up.:)

5. I never really realized what I look like until someone painted me. I suppose it's because another's perspective is alot more objective than your own. And it's really strange when a painting of you is watching you walk across the room. Just think about that....

Au Revoir**
